Three male singers whose extraordinarily rich voices left us a legacy of great songs impeccably performed. Billy Eckstine began as a band singer, performing with Earl Hines from 1939 to 1943. He led his own band from 1944 to 1947, utilizing every up-and-coming jazz player at the time, including Dizzy, Miiles, Dexter, with singers Lena Horne and Sarah Vaughn. His signature songs are all in this collection:

Tommy Edwards, another male singer of great skill and reputation, is represnted by his chart-topping hits:
