"Die Russische Klavierschule" is testament to a highly developed methodology for teaching piano and has gained great recognition in international piano pedagogy.
The approach of the two-volume work, edited by Julia Suslin, is based on training student’s perception of sound and is aided by focusing on listening practice, alongside the technical aspects of playing piano. In this way, the student acquires knowledge of the most important elements of piano playing in a short period of time.
